But for many emerging market publishers that won’t have the means to attend FBF24 in person, that’s a huge chunk of cash to stump up for four hours of digital access.
With London and Bologna fast approaching, Frankfurt’s October dates seems an eternity away, but there will be hybrid digital rights sessions in September, and an early Bird discount is on offer.
From the Buchmesse promo: “The Frankfurt Rights Meeting has been the meeting place for all decision-makers in the field of rights and licenses for over 30 years. This autumn, you will once again gain exclusive insights into current topics and trends in four digital sessions in September 2024, followed by an exclusive networking reception with a keynote speech on the exhibition grounds on Tuesday, 15 October 2024.”
The four one-hour digital sessions run 3, 10, 17 and 24 September. The Early Bird discounted price for all five sessions is “only” 273.70 euros inc. tax.
I say “only” because that’s pocket change for big publishers and affordable for western small publishers, and no doubt worth every penny.
